Robert Stevens Eventing
Robert Stevens is a BE Accredited Coach and International Event rider. Recently moved to Field farm Stud, Minety, nr Cirencester.
He has been competing at International level and teaching for over 20 years, and has gained his experience from working with Top riders in England and America, and rode for Cabalva and Welton Stud
He now runs his own event yard, with some very exciting up and coming young horses, which were produced slowly and winning at the end of this season.
Rob has been the Pre-Novice Three-Day-Event trainer at Aldon Horse Trials for the last three years, he really enjoys helping people at grass roots level and is an excellent source of knowledge. Rob is also a EHOA Trainer meaning that all Event Horse Owners Association members can redeem their training vouchers with him.
Rob trains all levels from Pony Club/Riding club to British Team Members. He is particularly skilled at solving jumping problems and is excellent on flatwork too. His ethos on training is the confidence and enjoyment of both horse and rider (as it is meant to be fun and not just hard work!).

Field farm Stud is a brand new fully equipped training complex, offering everything to keep owners, clients and most importantly horses in the utmost comfort.
The stables are in a 30m x 20m barn with insulated roofs and walls. It provides warmth in the winter while excellent ventilation ensures it stays cool in the summer. Built in oak, the large airy stables are fitted with back windows, rubber mats and automatic drinkers.
The internal stable yard has excellent facilities:
Tack and rug storage, Private rooms for client use
Wash box with rubber floor & hot water
5 horse walker with rubber floor, Laundry room
Incline treadmill.
Our staff are qualified and dedicated with 24hr care.
Our Arena is 60x30m with state of the art Andrews Bowen surface.
We have a full set of training jumps including planks, easy to use plastic wings, corner wings, blocks and barrels.
We also offer a full set of coloured show jumps with a variety of fillers. Dressage boards and letters are available.
We have 60 acres of grazing complete with mature hedgerows and trees. We constantly maintain the paddocks, ensuring year round optimum grass cover. We also make our own haylage and hay providing best quality forage for our horses. They also benefit from the support of Balanced Horse feeds & Intelligent Worming.
