Galway, Ireland. We are based in 250 acres of beautiful country side, surrounded by the best possible horse riding land - green fields, woods, the Kilcrow river, and wonderful wildlife. You will receive a warm welcome at our equestrian centre where we cater for novice, intermediate and experienced riders on cross country riding and hunting holidays.
The Co Roscommon hounds are kennelled at Flowerhill and guests are encouraged to take pre-hunting tuition on the cross country course, to learn hunting horn sounds and to assist Oliver with exercising the hounds around the Flowerhill grounds. We have over 30 horses for hunting hire, which are a cross between the solid and sensible Irish Draught and the thoroughbred. This results in a sport horse with great jumping ability, common sense and courage. All our horses are hunting veterans, who will take good care of you during your day's hunting. We take particular care to match the rider with the horse best suited to him or her, so that you feel comfortable and safe while having fun.
There are over 80 hunting clubs in Ireland and we will be delighted to arrange your fox hunting holiday in Ireland. You can use Flowerhill as your base while visiting fox hunts in the locality. Self catering accommodation is available in our 18th century farmhouse, where the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, or you can opt to stay at a local comfortable B&B or 4 star hotel.
